CARY, N.C. – Freshman Veljko Krstic was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the consolation singles draw on Sunday as the Elon University men's tennis team completed its weekend at the ITA Carolina Regionals. 
 
Krstic cruised past Oliver Saarinen of North Carolina Central 6-0, 6-1 in the round of 16 before falling to UNCW's Alex Degabriele 6-1, 7-5 in the quarterfinals. After losing in the opening round of the main draw, Krstic earned three wins in the consolation draw for the week.
