WILMINGTON, N.C.-- Elon University women's basketball recorded its third conference win of the season on Feb. 11 as it delivered a 10-point win over UNCW, 69-59.
"This win was a great team effort," said head coach
Charlotte Smith. "I was super elated to see
Vanessa Taylor walk in her light tonight. She shot the ball with confidence and was aggressive on her drives. We had a lot of players step up and play well offensively on a night where Brie struggled a little. That's the beauty and balance when everyone steps up with confidence."
