ELON, N.C. - Elon University men's tennis won its second consecutive match on Saturday, Feb. 19, defeating Campbell, 5-2, at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

"It was great being back at home and playing outside at Jimmy Powell today," head coach Michael Leonard opened. "Our upperclassman led the way with Kyle, Han and Camilo each winning their matches. Overall just proud of the guys and looking forward to getting back at it to prepare for North Carolina A&T on Tuesday."

HIGHLIGHTS
- Kyle Frankel led the way for Elon in singles play, defeating Pol Otin 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 2 position. The win marked Frankel's first of the year and moved him to 1-0 in No. 2 singles.
- Camilo Ponce made quick work of Benjamin Maes, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. Ponce now sits at 2-2 overall this season and 1-0 in the No. 5 slot.
- Daniel Martin outlasted Tomas Balazi, 6-7, 7-5, 12-10 in a three-set battle on Saturday. Martin moved to a team-best 3-2 with the win, as the sophomore is now 2-0 in the No. 3 spot.
- Chung-Han Tsai rounded out the singles wins for the Phoenix, defeating Leon Petko 6-2, 7-5 in the No. 6 position.
- The combination of Tsai and Martin got the ball rolling for Elon in doubles play, beating Balazi and Petko 6-3 in No. 1 singles. The duo is now tied for the team lead in doubles wins with three.
- Nicholas Campbell and Nicholas Condos clinched the doubles point in the match, outlasting Noe MacQuart and Otin 6-3 in the No. 3 slot.
