ELON, N.C. - Elon University men's tennis won its third consecutive match on Tuesday, Feb. 22, defeating North Carolina A&T, 6-1, at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Kyle Frankel led the way for Elon in singles play, defeating Vasil Invanov 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 2 position. The win marked Frankel's second in a row and moved him to 2-0 in No. 2 singles.
- Camilo Ponce clinched the match for the Phoenix, making quick work of Jorge Perez 6-1, 6-2. Ponce now sits at 3-2 overall this season and has won three consecutive matches.
- Nicholas Condos outlasted Eder Blanco, 6-4, 3-6, 10-4 in a three-set battle on Tuesday. The win marked the first of the season for Condos.
- Esteban Penagos picked up his second singles win of the season, taking down Ethan Baly in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.
- Chung-Han Tsai rounded out the singles wins for the Phoenix, defeating Ian Pederson 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 5 position. Tsai is now tied for the team lead in victories this season with three.
- The combination of Tsai and Daniel Martin clinched the doubles point for Elon, beating Esteban Lopez and Ivanov 6-3 in No. 1 singles. The duo now leads the team in doubles wins with four.
- Frankel and Ponce got the ball rolling in doubles play, finishing Perez and Blanco 6-1 in the No. 2 slot.
- Luke Queiroz and Ben Zipay picked up their first doubles win of the year, outlasting Pederson and Baly 7-6 (8-6) in a tiebreaker.
