HARRISONBURG, VA. - Elon University men's tennis had its winning-streak snapped on Tuesday, April 5, falling to James Madison, 4-2, at the East Campus Tennis Courts in Harrisonburg, Va.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Daniel Martin led the way Elon in singles play, making quick work of Youssef Sadek 6-1, 6-2 in straight sets. The win moved Martin to 11-3 overall and 9-0 in the No. 3 slot this season. The sophomore has now won 10 of his last 11 matches.
- Nicholas Campbell dropped a close three-set battle against William Kaprinski in No. 2 singles. Campbell battled back to win the second set 6-3 after falling 6-3 in the opening set. In the decisive third set, Kaprinski outlasted Campbell 6-3 again to secure the win.
- Camilo Ponce rounded out the singles wins on Tuesday, defeating Oscar Hernandez 6-3, 6-2 inin the No. 4 position. Ponce earned his third consecutive win and moved to 7-6 overall with a 6-5 mark at No. 4 with the performance.
- Nicholas Condos held a lead in No. 6 singles against Mathieu Josserand, winning the first set 6-2 and holding a 2-2 tie in the second set before the match went unfinished. Condos also combined with Campbell for a 5-4 lead in No. 3 doubles before play was stopped due to JMU clinching the doubles point.

Elon returns to action on Friday, April 8, when it hosts VCU in a 2:30 p.m. contest at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
