As 2023 comes to a close, we want to make sure you have important information about Elon and the Phoenix Club's holiday schedule as it relates to end-of-year giving. December 31 is the deadline to have year-end gifts treated as a deduction for 2023.

ELON UNIVERSITY & PHOENIX CLUB HOURS
Elon University and the Phoenix Club will be closed Friday, Dec. 22- Monday, Jan. 1.

Checks mailed after this date will have a delay in processing due to the holiday break.

December 31
• Any checks postmarked by the 31st will be processed for the calendar year 2023.
• Gifts made online must be completed by the 31st at 11:59 p.m. Please visit www.elonphoenix.com/makeagift to make your gift online.
• Gifts over the phone must be made and processed by Dec. 31, please note the holiday hours of the Phoenix Club. Please call (336) 278-6781.

ADDITIONAL GIVING INFORMATION
Gifts of appreciated securities
Stock transfers and especially mutual fund transfers take longer to process and record. Please check with your broker about the processing time of your gift, and note that it cannot be processed as a gift until it is received in Elon's custody account. Please contact Chris Hawthorne at chawthorne@elon.edu with any questions and information about the transfer. We're happy to provide delivery instructions if you need them. 

Donor Advised Funds and gifts sent by direct mail
Any mailed checks postmarked by Dec. 31 will be processed for the 2023 calendar year. This includes gifts mailed from Donor Advised Funds. You can mail your gift to the address below:
