CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Annie Wu shot a two-under par 70 in the final round of the Rivertowne Invitational on Tuesday to finish first in the field.
Charleston Southern hosted the tournament at the Rivertowne Country Club in Charleston, S.C.
As a team, Elon finished third with a 54-hole total of 876 (+12). Richmond won the tournament with a 5-over par 869 while Coastal Carolina placed second with an 872 (+8).
HIGHLIGHTS
- Annie Wu took the top sport after carding three rounds of par or better, including two rounds of two-under par 70. The sophomore carded five birdies to offset three bogeys in the final round to finish on top with a 212 (-4).
- Ashley Lafontaine recorded her second top-15 finish this spring, finishing in solo eighth place with an even-par 216. Lafontaine carded four birdies and an eagle on the front nine of her final round, one of only four golfers to card an eagle.
- Lotte Fox finished tied for 24th place in the individual standings with a 54-hole total of 224 (+8).
- Annabelle Ackroyd shot her lowest score in the final round with a 74 (+2) to finish in a tie for 31st place. Ackroyd led the team in pars with 36.
- Apple Ngamwong tied for 45th place after carding a 76 (+4) in the final round to finish with a 54-hole total of 230 (+14).

- The Phoenix heads to Wallace, N.C. for the River Landing Classic on Mar. 3-4 hosted by fellow CAA foe UNCW.
