Elon, N.C.- D1 Baseball announced their Midseason Player Position Rankings and
Justin Mitrovich received high marks. Mitrovich was named as the 32
nd best starting pitcher in the nation regardless of institution and class.
The Yardley, Pa native was the fourth-highest rated sophomore starter by D1 Baseball in the rankings. Mitrovich was the highest rated starter on the list from the CAA, being 16 spots higher than the next CAA starter.
The sophomore has made seven starts for the Phoenix to the tune of a 3.61 ERA and a 2-3 record. He has pitched 42.1 innings so far this season and is top-15 in the country in strikeouts with 57. Mitrovich's arsenal contains a changeup that is the sixth best in the country in whiff rate at over 58%.

Mitrovich and the Phoenix return to Latham Park this Wednesday for a matchup with the Wofford Terriers. First pitch between Elon and Wofford will be at 6 pm.
