RICHMOND, VA. – Sophomore
Annie Wu has been named to the All-CAA Second Team, as the league announced its postseason awards for women's golf on Friday.
The Taichung, Taiwan native posted three-top five finishes, which included a win at the Rivertowne Invitational, a runner-up finish at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate and a fifth-place finish at the Edisto Island Invitational.
Wu finished tied for 18
th place at April's CAA Championship and was named CAA Golfer of the Week on back-to-back weeks in February.
Her first-round score of 69 at the William & Mary Invitational was her best round carded this season and tied her career-low. She also shot par or better in eight rounds this season, more than any other Elon player.
College of Charleston's Viktoria Hund was named Golfer of the Year and Campbell's Alicia Olsson was named Rookie of the Year. Patty Post of Delaware was selected as Coach of the Year.
