ELON, N.C. – The Elon University softball team and head coach
Kathy Bocock announced the program's eight-game 2024 fall slate on Tuesday, Sept. 24. The schedule includes six games at the Phoenix's home facility at Hunt Softball Park and matchups versus in-state rivals Duke, NC State and ECU.
The opening game of the Phoenix's fall ball schedule begins on Sunday, Sept. 29, versus Carolina University at Hunt Softball Park at 2 p.m. Following that matchup, Elon will host Mount Olive and Gaston for a twin bill on Saturday, Oct. 5 starting at 10:30 a.m. on the home diamond.
Elon then hosts Louisburg College for a pair of games on Oct. 8 and Oct. 17 with both contests slated for a 4:30 p.m. start. The Phoenix's home portion of the fall slate concluded with a matchup versus Duke on Sunday, Oct. 20.
The Phoenix treks down I-40 to face NC State on Wednesday, Oct. 23 for a midweek contest at 5 p.m. The fall ball campaign ends with a contest at ECU on Sunday, Oct. 27 with the opening pitch set for 1 p.m.
