Six Phoenix Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

ELON – Six Elon women's soccer players earned a spot on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

Ashlee Brehio, Katie Bisgrove, Jordan Green, Ava Hellner, Gabby Hoschek and Jessica Hill all earned the honor for the Phoenix. To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a player must have a cumulative GPA over 3.50 while starting in two-thirds of a team's contests or competing in 90% of the team's total games played.

Brehio appeared in all 21 matches for the Phoenix this season, making 14 starts. The midfielder logged over 1,400 minutes and notched 14 points with four goals and six assists. Three of those points came in the CAA Tournament, as she was named to the All-Tournament Team. A senior majoring in computer science, Brehio has a 3.7 cumulative GPA.

Bisgrove made 20 starts in goal for Elon this season. The Most Outstanding Player of the CAA Tournament and All-CAA Third Team selection led the conference in goals against average (0.78), save percentage (869) and saves (106). She recorded nine shutouts on the campaign, the most in a single season by a goalkeeper in Elon's Division I era. The sophomore exercise science major holds a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

Green played all 21 matches for Elon this fall, making 17 starts. She logged over 1,200 minutes and had a pair of assists in a victory over South Carolina State. The junior defender started Elon's final nine matches of the season, including all three CAA Tournament contests. The finance major has a 4.0 cumulative GPA.

Hellner made 19 starts in 21 appearances in Elon's midfield this season, playing the third most minutes by a Phoenix field player (1,721). The redshirt junior tallied nine points on the campaign with three goals and three assists. She played all 310 minutes of Elon's CAA Tournament run. The psychology major holds a 3.9 cumulative GPA.

Hoschek earned All-CAA Second Team honors this season after making 18 starts in 21 appearances in Elon's midfield. The junior compiled a career-best 16 points with five goals and six assists. Of her 16 points, eight came in conference play, as she had a three-point outing against Hampton and two-point performances versus both Hofstra and Drexel. A psychology major, she has a 3.7 cumulative GPA.

Hill rounds out Elon's honorees after starting all 21 matches for the Phoenix this fall and logging a team-high 1,894 minutes. The sophomore defender tallied a pair of assists, including one on Brehio's game-winning goal against William & Mary in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament. Hill went the full distance in all but three matches this season. The psychology major has a 3.9 GPA.
