SAN DIEGO – Elon University junior Simone Bergeron fell Saturday in the consolation semifinals at ITA Conference Masters. The tournament is being hosted at Barnes Tennis Center.
 
Bergeron fell in a tight three-setter against Northern Arizona's Patrycja Niewiadomska. After losing the opening set, 5-7, Bergeron rallied to win the second, 6-3. Niewiadomska bounced back in the third, winning it 6-2 to advance to the consolation final.
 
Bergeron finishes her ITA Conference Masters debut with two victories in the consolation draw.
