ELON – The Elon women's tennis team announced its 2026 spring schedule Thursday. The Phoenix will play 22 matches, including 12 home contests at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
The Phoenix opens its spring on Jan. 16 at Charlotte before heading to Texas for a pair of contests against SMU on Jan. 25 and UT Arlington on Jan. 26. Elon will host Longwood on Feb. 5 for its home opener, and after a trip to East Carolina on Feb. 7, the Phoenix plays back-to-back home matches against Liberty (Feb. 13) and George Washington (Feb. 15).
Elon will face North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Feb. 17 before playing six straight home matches at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center. The Phoenix will play both Gardner-Webb and Livingstone on Feb. 21, Wofford on Feb. 28, Davidson on March 1, South Carolina State on March 8 and South Alabama on March 11.
Following the homestand, the Phoenix travels south to play Furman on March 14 before two more home matches against Connecticut (March 19) and Queens (March 21).
The Phoenix then embarks on its longest road stretch of the campaign, beginning on March 24 against CAA foe College of Charleston. Elon will then face William & Mary on April 3 in a rematch of last spring's CAA championship match. The Phoenix closes out the road trip with matches on April 4 at Old Dominion and April 8 at UNCG before capping the regular season against Coastal Carolina at home on April 11.
Elon will then set its sights on the CAA Tournament, which William & Mary will host from April 17-19. The Phoenix will go for its second straight conference title after winning the tournament for the first time a season ago.
