ELON GEARED FOR INDOOR SEASON
  • The Phoenix is scheduled to compete in 12 meets during its 2025-26 indoor campaign. Elon will travel to competitions at Liberty, Boston University and Virginia Tech, along with multiple meets at the JDL Fast Track during the regular season.
  • Elon is coming off a runner-up finish at last season's CAA Indoor Championships, totaling 107.5 points, just 2.5 behind champion Hampton. Since the CAA added indoor track in 2023, the Phoenix has finished in the top two every year, including winning the league's inaugural indoor title in 2023.
  • Lopez is the Phoenix's lone returning CAA champion after winning the pentathlon with 3,575 points — the third-highest total in program history — becoming Elon's first pentathlon conference champion since Louise Prevoteau (2013) during the Phoenix's time in the Southern Conference.

ELITE UNDER ELLISTON
  • Elon Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Mark Elliston enters his 20th season leading the Phoenix. Under his guidance, Elon has captured a combined seven CAA titles in indoor and outdoor track & field along with four runner-up finishes.
  • A six-time CAA Women's Track & Field Coach of the Year, Elliston and his staff coached 10 All-CAA honorees at last year's indoor championships, along with two event champions. The Phoenix also saw three school records fall and several program top-10 marks added during the season.

ON DECK
  • The Phoenix will break for the holidays before returning to competition at the Mondo College Invitational on Jan. 17 at the JDL Fast Track.
