ELON – Elon football head coach Tony Trisciani and the Phoenix announced the signing of Alex Voss Tuesday afternoon. A three-star wide receiver out of Charlotte, Voss was a late addition to Elon's 2026 signing class after de-committing from Boston College.
"We are excited about adding Alex to our 2026 recruiting class and we can't wait to get him on campus in January," Trisciani said. "We offered Alex early in his junior year after watching him score four touchdowns in a live evaluation and we built a relationship with him until his commitment to Boston College last April. The recruiting process for high school kids today can be crazy as they battle the transfer portal for 'Power Four' opportunities. We are grateful that our efforts during the recruiting process and relationship were strong enough for Alex to make a quick decision and join our football family."

Wide receivers coach
Matt Christian on Voss:
"Alex is a dynamic, long, extremely athletic player who shows an elite ability to track and adjust to the ball. The exciting part about Alex is that as productive and successful as he was in high school, he is only scratching the surface of what his true potential is. Alex is an incredible young man both on and off the field who will be a fantastic addition to our WR core and our Elon family."
