ELON, N.C. – Four members of the Elon women's lacrosse team earned All-CAA honors as the league office announced its 2025 postseason awards on Wednesday, April 30. Senior attacker
Sammy Fisher earned a spot on the All-CAA First Team, while sophomore defender
Reagan Kuehn was named to the All-CAA Second Team. Freshman attackers
Lillian Austin and
Danielle Swietoniowski were each selected to the CAA All-Rookie Team.
Saving the best year for last, Fisher capped off her final regular season in the maroon and gold with a dominant campaign. She set new career highs and led the Phoenix with 44 goals, 16 assists, and 60 points. Her 60 points were 16 more than her 2024 output and rank as the second-highest in a single season in program history. Fisher also played a pivotal role in Elon's league-best draw control unit, finishing second on the team with 68 draw controls. She currently ranks third all-time at Elon with 156 career points and is second in career goals with 126. During conference play, she set new single-season program records with 32 points, 10 assists, and 53 shots.
In her final season, Fisher collects her third All-CAA Honor after earning All-CAA Rookie Team in 2022 and All-CAA Second Team in 2024. Her All-CAA First Team selection is Elon's seventh since joining the league in 2015.
Kuehn built on a standout rookie campaign to remain a cornerstone of the Phoenix defense in her sophomore season. She led the team with 23 caused turnovers and added 31 ground balls, the second-most on the squad. Just two seasons into her career, Kuehn already ranks ninth in program history in ground balls and seventh in caused turnovers.
Austin and Swietoniowski both made immediate impacts in their debut seasons. Austin finished fifth on the team in assists with eight and added 12 goals to total 20 points. She was named CAA Rookie of the Week twice, including after a standout performance against Towson where she recorded five assists, the highest single-game total by an Elon player in 2025, helping the Phoenix clinch a berth in the CAA Tournament.
Swietoniowski tallied 22 points with 15 goals and seven assists, finishing fifth on the team in points and goals. She also earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors following a five-point performance with three goals and two assists in a win over Hofstra. This marks the first time since 2015 that Elon has had multiple players selected to the All-CAA Rookie Team.
Elon returns to action on Thursday at noon, taking on No. 22/19 Stony Brook in the CAA Semifinals, hosted by the Seawolves. The winner will advance to face either Hofstra or Drexel in the CAA Championship Game, set for Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
