GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Elon University women's track and field team completed its second and final day at the N.C. A&T Classic on Saturday, May 3, at the Marcus T. Johnson Track.
Stavriana Adamou ran a wind-aided time of 14.13 in the prelims of the 100-meter hurdles.
Mia Stimpson jumped into the program's top-10 list in the event with her personal-best time of 14.15. It was Stimpson's second personal-record of the weekend after breaking into the program's top-10 list in the triple jump yesterday with a leap of 11.96m.
Adriana Clarke garnered a second-place standing in the hammer throw with a toss of 56.05m.
Isabella Johnson was Elon's top finisher in the shot put with a throw of 13.52m in fourth.
Jaqueline Zacharias was second in the javelin throw with her heave of 32.88m
Hannah Schonhoff was second in the high jump with her cleared height of 1.67m.
Mary Sollars was Elon's top finisher in the 400-meters with her time of 59.30 while
Mya Lee posted a time of 12.00 in the 100-meters.
Braetan Peters was the runner-up in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with her time of 12:09.97, a new season-best.
Addison George was fifth in the 800-meters for Elon with her time of 2:15.78, a new personal-record.
ON DECK
• Select Elon runners will complete the weekend tomorrow, May 4, at the Duke Twilight. The Phoenix's first event at the meet, the women's 800-meters, is scheduled for a 6:25 p.m. start time.
