RICHMOND – Junior Adriana Clarke of the Elon women's track and field team was named the CAA Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Clarke broke the school record in the weight throw at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational at Liberty University last Friday. The Yulee, Fla., native finished second in the event with a mark of 64' 4" (19.61m), surpassing the previous school record by 0.41 meters. Her throw sits No. 1 on the CAA's indoor performance list this season and ranks 56th in the NCAA.
 
Clarke and the Phoenix will return to action at the 2026 CAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, set for Sunday through Monday, Feb. 22-23, at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston.
