The Matchups
- Elon holds a 9-5 advantage in the head-to-head against Georgia Southern. The former Southern Conference foes have not met since 2015.
- Georgia Southern has won two of the last three meeting between the teams, including the most recent match on March 7, 2015.
- The Phoenix is 4-4 against the Eagles in home matches, but the Eagles have won each of their last two trips to Elon.

- Elon is 4-9 this season and is coming off a split last weekend in Virginia with a CAA win at William & Mary and a loss at VCU. Â
- Veljko Krstic is ranked No. 116 in the ITA singles poll and is coming off a pair of victories at No. 1 singles against William & Mary and VCU. He earned All-CAA honors in both singles and doubles a season ago.
- Rafael Ymer and Jack Curtis also picked up All-CAA recognition in both singles and doubles last season. Ymer leads the Phoenix with 16 total victories across doubles and singles this season and has formed a strong doubles duo with Curtis, as the pairing is tied for a team-high four victories together this spring. Â
- Oskar Antinheimo rounded out Elon's postseason honorees in 2025, landing on the All-CAA Second Team in doubles. Antinheimo has won three straight singles matches and is 3-0 playing doubles with Ymer this spring.
- Elon returns three more players from last season – Luke Forester, Charles Pilet and Alonso Roca. Pilet delivered 10 victories as a freshman across singles and doubles, while Roca notched a pair of singles wins in the spring.Â
- The Phoenix welcomes two newcomers in 2025-26. Nick Fisk joins Elon as a freshman, while sophomore Nikola Parichkov comes to Elon after being a part of Wake Forest's national championship team last spring.Â

Win In Williamsburg
- Elon picked up a crucial 6-1 road victory at William & Mary on March 20 for its first win against a CAA opponent this season.
- Krstic and Parichkov clinched a tight doubles point for the Phoenix with a tiebreak win over the two-time reigning CAA Doubles Team of the Week on Court 1. Antinheimo and Ymer won on Court 3 to set up Elon's top court for the clinch.
- Krstic kept the momentum rolling in singles, winning 6-1, 7-6 (3) on Court 1, winning his second tiebreak of the day in the second set to put the Phoenix ahead 2-0.
- Playing singles for just the second time since Feb. 21, Curtis extended Elon's lead to 3-0 with a 6-3, 6-3 result at the No. 4 spot. It was his third victory of the spring.
- After William & Mary on Court 3 to cut Elon's lead to 3-1, Pilet delivered the winning point for the Phoenix with a three-set victory at the No. 6 position. Pilet raced out to a 4-1 lead in the third set and held on for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 victory that secured an Elon win.
- Antinheimo and Ymer also came through in three-set matches to polish off a 6-1 Elon victory.
- The Phoenix has now won its last two trips to Williamsburg after losing there its previous six tries.

Beat The Best To Be The Best
- For the second time this spring, Krstic and Parichkov were named CAA Doubles Team of the Week on Tuesday.
- The duo knocked off William & Mary's top duo of Oliver Hague and Gur Trakhtenberg, who were the two-time reigning CAA Doubles Team of the Week entering Friday's match, in a tiebreak to secure the doubles point for the Phoenix against the Tribe.
- Krstic and Parichkov went down an early break but fought back to eventually force a tiebreak. Elon's top tandem won five of the first six points but found themselves tied 6-6 at the second changeover. The Phoenix responded by winning the next two points to notch a decisive victory.
- The win was the fourth of the season for the pairing, two of which have come in tiebreaks to clinch doubles points for the Phoenix. Krstic and Parichkov also delivered a tiebreak win to clinch doubles on Feb. 19 against Charlotte.
- Krstic and Parichkov won the first CAA Doubles Team of the Week award on Jan. 27. This is Krstic's third time winning the weekly honor, as he also won with Antinheimo on March 28, 2023.

Rafa Rising Â
- Ymer leads the Phoenix with nine singles victories this spring, with eight coming at the No. 2 position and one from the No. 1 spot.
- He owns a 9-3 overall record and won a pair of three-setters in Elon's Virginia double last weekend.
- The sophomore picked up a ranked singles win on Jan. 21 against No. 11 Texas A&M, defeating Alexander Frusina, who was ranked No. 73 by the ITA in singles. He later added another singles victory on the road at No. 23 NC State.  Â
- Each of Ymer's last three singles wins have come in third sets. His three final-set wins lead the Phoenix, as he is 3-1 in decisive frames on the season.
- Ymer captured his second career CAA Player of the Week honor on Jan. 27, highlighted in the season's first CAA weekly men's tennis awards. Â
- Primarily competing at the No. 2 spot, he holds a 7-2 record in doubles. He is 3-0 playing with Antinheimo and 4-2 playing with Curtis.
- Ymer's 16 victories across doubles and singles are the most on the Phoenix. He holds a combined record of 16-5.

Regionals Run  Â
- Krstic made a historic run at ITA Carolina Regionals in October, placing third in the main singles draw.    Â
- The senior advanced to the semifinals in the event, becoming the first Elon player to make the final four in singles at Regionals since Cameron Silverman in 2013.   Â
- Krstic delivered four victories to reach the semifinals, defeating players from North Carolina, Charlotte, Clemson and South Carolina along the way.   Â
- In his semifinal against Wake Forest's Luca Pow, Krstic won the second set, 6-2, after dropping the opener in a tiebreak. He pushed Pow to the end, ultimately falling 4-6 in the deciding frame.   Â
- Krstic finished the fall with a team-best 10 singles victories. He also had six doubles wins.   Â
- Krstic rose to No. 60 in the first ITA singles rankings of the spring, which were released on Feb. 4. He is the second Elon individual to reach the top 60 in the rankings and is currently ranked No. 116. He has appeared in all five editions of the rankings since debuting on Nov. 25.
- Krstic is up to 42 career dual singles victories, the most among current Elon players. An All-CAA First Team honoree in singles a season ago, Krstic posted double-digit singles wins in each of his first three seasons with the Phoenix.   Â
- With his win against William & Mary last weekend, Krstic snapped a six-match skid in singles. His wins against the Tribe and VCU are his first back-to-back singles wins of the campaign.

- Antinheimo carries a three-match singles winning streak into the weekend.
- The senior has picked up singles wins against Coastal Carolina, William & Mary and VCU during the streak, with both matches in Virginia last weekend going three sets.
- Antinheimo is the only Phoenix to play four different singles spots this spring. He has made at least one appearance at Nos. 3-6 singles.
- Antinheimo is also riding four straight victories in doubles, three of which came alongside Ymer. Antinheimo and Ymer were also at match point at No. 3 doubles against No. 34 Clemson when their match was halted.
- Antinheimo is up to 75 career dual victories (39 in singles, 36 in doubles) in his fourth season with the Phoenix. He is Elon's active leader in total career wins.

- The Phoenix has won seven of 13 doubles points this spring and has taken the opening point in six of its last nine matches, including in its CAA road victory at William & Mary.
- Curtis and Ymer have been Elon's most successful pairing, going 4-2 at the No. 2 spot. Ymer is also 3-0 this spring playing alongside Antinheimo.
- Krstic and Parichkov have won two CAA Doubles Team of the Week honors this season, including on Tuesday. Elon's No. 1 duo is tied with Curtis and Ymer for a team-high four victories this spring and has clinched a pair of doubles points for the Phoenix with tiebreak victories. Â
- Six different doubles duos have won a match this spring for the Phoenix.Â

- Elon has advanced to four straight CAA championship matches, a streak that began in 2022.   Â
- Last season, the Phoenix hosted the event at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center and defeated Monmouth in the semifinals to reach the final against top-seeded UNCW.   Â
- The Phoenix and Seahawks have met in each of the last four conference title matches, with UNCW winning all four.   Â
- In the last four CAA Tournaments, Elon is 7-0 in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds. The Phoenix's last loss prior to the championship match came in 2021.   Â

Scouting Georgia Southern
- Georgia Southern enters Friday with a 7-6 record on the season. The Eagles have won consecutive matches against James Madison and Georgia State.
- The Eagles will face North Alabama on Wednesday before taking on the Phoenix.
- Georgia Southern is 2-3 in five road matches this season with wins at Mercer and North Florida.
- Albert Widell leads the Eagles with nine singles wins this spring, all coming at the Nos. 5 and 6 spots.
- Albert Saar and Gregoire Delattre have split duties at No. 1 singles this season, with both posting two victories.
- Willy Mirarchi is 8-3 in singles on the campaign with six wins coming at the No. 4 spot.
- Delatrre and Davis Taylor are 3-5 playing No. 1 doubles for the Eagles. Miarachi and Matthew Mitchell also have three wins playing the No. 3 spot.
- The Eagles have lost their last four doubles points, picking up just two match wins in those four outings.
- Georgia Southern is led by head coach Andrew Goodwin, who is in his third season with the Eagles.

Scouting No. 56 Old Dominion
- The Monarchs are 13-5 this season and checked in at No. 56 in the latest ITA standings Tuesday.
- Old Dominion enters on a three-match winning streak, which includes sweeps against Saint Joseph's and No. 42 Penn.
- The Monarchs are 4-2 away from home. They lost their most recent road match at Charlotte on March 13.
- Before facing Elon on Sunday, the Monarchs will face Georgia Southern on Saturday in a neutral-site match at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.Â
- Old Dominion as a pair of wins against power conference opponents this season. The Monarchs beat Virginia Tech on Feb. 13 and Utah on Feb. 22. Â
- Adam Majchrzak, the younger brother of ATP player Kamil Majchrzak, plays No. 1 singles for the Monarchs. He has six wins at the top spot this spring.
- Head coach Dominik Mueller is in his 10th season leading the Monarchs.
