ELON – Elon right-handed pitcher Brian Strange has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Minnesota Twins organization.
 
Strange served as the Phoenix's Friday night starter during his graduate season in 2026, recording 76 strikeouts over 78.2 innings. He ranked seventh in the Coastal Athletic Association in innings pitched and eighth in strikeouts.

The right-hander registered 48 strikeouts during conference play, also ranking eighth in the CAA. Strange recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts against Fairfield on Feb. 27 and made three starts in which he allowed two hits or fewer.
 
Strange spent three seasons at the NCAA Division I level, playing two years at Southeast Missouri State before joining the Phoenix. He completed his Division I career with 168 strikeouts.
 
The Westfield, Massachusetts, native made 31 appearances, including 20 starts, during his two seasons at Southeast Missouri State. Strange helped the Redhawks reach the 2024 NCAA Regional, earning the victory against Louisiana Tech after allowing three earned runs and striking out four over 6.2 innings.
 
Strange began his collegiate career at Mineral Area College, where he went 10-6 over two seasons. He recorded a 3.27 ERA and struck out 50 batters against 19 walks as a sophomore in 2023 after earning eight victories and collecting 69 strikeouts during his freshman campaign.
