ELON – The Elon women's tennis team released its 2026 fall schedule Thursday, highlighted by a pair of home tournaments set to be played at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
The Phoenix opens its fall slate at the Kitty Harrison Invitational hosted by North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Sept. 11-13. Elon will then host its first of two fall events, the Jimmy Powell Invitational, on Oct. 2-3. The Phoenix will then head to Columbia, South Carolina, to play at ITA Carolina Regionals from Oct. 15-19 before rounding out the fall by hosting the Elon Fall Invitational at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center from Oct. 30-31.
Elon had a successful fall campaign last season, highlighted by Simone Bergeron becoming the first Elon player to represent the CAA at ITA Conference Masters. Bergeron played singles in the event, winning a pair of matches.
Last spring, the Phoenix won its second consecutive CAA title and played as a three-seed in the Athens Regional in the NCAA Tournament. Elon peaked at No. 58 in the ITA rankings in the spring, the highest ranking in the program's Division I history.
