RICHMOND, Va. – Elon forward Isa Murdock was tabbed as the CAA Offensive Player of the Week on Monday as the conference released its weekly women's soccer awards.
Murdock scored her first career hat trick in Elon's 5-0 victory at VMI on Thursday, netting a pair of first-half goals before adding another in the 86th minute. It was the second multi-goal outing of Murdock's career and her first since Sept. 2, 2024.
Murdock became the first Phoenix to score three goals in a match since Grace Gelhaus did so against Hampton on Sept. 28, 2023. With the trio of goals against the Keydets, Murdock surpassed 50 career points and is now tied with Stony Brook's Emily Lemke for a conference-best 13 points on the season.
The weekly award is the second of Murdock's career after also earning CAA Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 20, 2025. The preseason All-CAA honoree leads the Phoenix this season in goals (5) and is third on the team with three assists.
The Phoenix wraps up nonconference play Sunday at Rudd Field with a match against Charleston Southern. The contest is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
