2025: Made 22 appearances and eight starts on the mound for the Phoenix during his freshman season...Finished with a 2-4 record and 5.88 ERA...One of five Phoenix pitchers to collect a win and save in 2025...Finished fourth on the Phoenix in strikeouts with 44...Made his first career appearance and start against #1 Texas A&M in College Station (02/15)...Set a career high in strikeouts with five against the Aggies, a number he would match against Campbell (05/10)...Earned his first win and went a career-high 5.2 innings against Brown (03/01)...Struck out three batters and gave up no runs in two innings in a start against super regional host North Carolina (04/08)...Pitched three innings, gave up just two hits, and struck out four while awarding no free bases in a midweek start over UNCG (04/15)...Earned his first career save in a three inning effort against Monmouth (04/19) where he allowed just two base runners...Struck out five batters in four innings of relief in game one of a double header with the Camels (05/10)...Pitched 3.2 innings of scoreless relief in the 2025 CAA tournament, 2.0 against Campbell and 1.2 against College of Charleston. 

Prior to Elon:

• 50^th overall, 23^rd ranked positionally in the state of KY per Prep Baseball Report
• 676^th ranked nationally positionally – 22^nd overall, 11 ranked positionally in the state per Perfect Game.
• During his high school career at Bracken County, Krift pitched in 61 games with 215.2 innings pitched. His strikeout to walk ratio was better than 2:1 with 206 career strikeouts going into his senior year. Finished his senior year by striking out the sixth most batters in the state with 108 punchouts in 60.2 innings pitched for an average of 12.46 K's/7. 
• In 2024, Krift was Kentucky's 10th Region Pitcher of the Year and was selected to the region's First Team. 
• In 2023, he was a member of the 10^th Region All-Tournament Team and was awarded the 2023 King of the Hill Award.
• He plays for the Kentucky Mustang Arsenal for coaches Brad McNew and Josh Lock.
