Prior to Elon:
  • Played for four years on varsity at Tarboro High School
  • Played for head coach Jeff Craddock
  • Finished his career with a 55-4 record with the Vikings
  • Rushed for at least 1,000 yards and 20 touchdowns in all four years at Tarboro
  • Finished his high school career with 6,360 rushing yards and 96 touchdowns
  • As a senior, led Tarboro to a 15-0 record and a state title. Compiled 2,184 yards on 181 carries and 31 rushing touchdowns
  • Two-time North Carolina AA state champion
  • Top-25 in North Carolina high school football history for rushing yards in a career
