High School: Played four years on the varsity team at Western Albemarle • Three-time state champion and three-time district and regional champion • Three-time honoree on both the All-State and All-Central Virginia Teams • Scored 126 goals at Western Albemarle to go along with 30 assists, 77 caused turnovers, 101 ground balls and 176 draw controls • Served as team captain during her senior season • Was also a swimming and field hockey student-athlete at Western Albemarle • 2025 CBS19 News Female Athlete of the Year • 2025 Western Albemarle High School Female Athlete of the Year • 2025 VSHL Female Athlete of the Year nominee 

Personal: Full name is Genevieve Therese Hathaway • Daughter of Ramsey and Kelley Hathaway • Has a twin brother, Jack, who is on the swim team at Loyola (MD) • Father played basketball at Roanoke College and mother Kelley played soccer at Roanoke College • Majoring in strategic communications and sport management
