Coach’s Take: Austen developed well during the spring season. He is a powerful defender and very strong in the air. We look for the experiences he had last year to make him a better player this fall.

Prep: Member of the 2007 NCSCA Men’s All-State Team… earned a spot on the 2008 NCSCA “Clash of the Carolinas” All-Star team… honored as the 2007 News Six Conference Player of the Year… helped lead Ralph L. Fike to conference crowns in 2004, 2005 and 2006 and a state finals appearance in 2007… helped his ‘89 CASL Elite club, coached by Jay Howell and Bruce Murray, reach the USYSA Southern Regional finals in 2007 and the 2007 NCYSA state title… captained both his prep and club teams.
