2012: Saw action in 10 contests… Finished the year with 11 total tackles, including 10 solo stops… Recorded a high of five tackles (all solo) in a win over West Virginia State.

2011: Red-shirted.

Prep: 2010 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas participant where he recorded five stops and was often matched up with the nation’s top-rated wide receiver… Clocked a 4.23-second time in the 40-yard dash at the Shrine Bowl combine… Picked off six passes and returned three punts for touchdowns as a senior… Was a first-team all-area selection by the New Bern Sun Journal as well as a second-team all-state pick by NCPrep in 2010… Named to The Associated Press all-state team as a special teams player… Helped lead Bobby Curlings’ New Bern squad to a 2010 Mideastern Conference title as well as a 2007 4AA state crown.
