Biography

2014: Saw time in four games, making three starts… Was second on the team with 292 rushing yards on 59 carries… Averaged 4.9 yards per rush and ran for one touchdown… Caught six passes for 19 yards… Had 13 carries for a personal-best 87 yards and one TD in the opener at Duke… Carried a season-high 19 times for 68 yards against North Carolina A&T… Had a career-long run of 44 yards at #3 Coastal Carolina.

2013: Appeared in 10 games… Led the team with 464 yards rushing on a team-high 123 carries… Tied for the team lead with four rushing touchdowns… Caught 19 passes for 116 yards and one score… Southern Conference All-Freshman Team selection… Collected one SoCon Freshman of the Week honor… Scored the first three touchdowns of his career (two rushing, one receiving) in a win over West Virginia Wesleyan… Carried 16 times for a career-high 86 yards and one TD against Appalachian State.

Prep: Named his team’s MVP and served as a team captain during his senior season… Rushed for 1,200 yards and 22 touchdowns on 116 carries on his way to all-state and High School Sports Report SCISA Mr. Football honors in 2011… Caught 29 balls for 418 yards and another five scores as a senior… Collected SCISA 3A Offensive Player of the Year, all-state and team MVP honors as a junior… Rushed for over 800 yards and 17 TDs and caught 56 passes for over 900 yards and six scores in 2010… Led the team with 1,272 rushing yards as a sophomore, finding the end zone 13 times on the ground… Holds Hammond School career records with over 4,600 rushing yards and 56 touchdowns… Helped lead coach Erik Kimrey’s program to the last three of six consecutive South Carolina state titles… Named the SCISA 2011 Male Track Athlete of the Year after scoring 36 individual points in the state meet where he earned three gold medals.
