2013: Team MVP… Selected as the second-team all-conference return specialist by both the coaches and media… Earned one Southern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honor… Started 11 of the 12 games in which he appeared… Finished second on the squad with 50 receptions… Totaled 448 yards receiving and caught two touchdown passes… Ran the ball 14 times for 144 yards… Averaged 24.2 yards (920 total yards) on 38 kickoff returns… Returned five punts for 109 yards and one touchdown… Caught a season-high seven passes for a season-best 74 yards against Chattanooga… Had six catches for 37 yards and a TD against Appalachian State… Ran for 92 yards on two carries against No. 11 Coastal Carolina… Had a career-best 140 yards on five kick returns against Appalachian State… Returned two punts for 55 yards, including a 56-yard return for a score, against No. 23 Samford.

2012: Appeared in all 11 contests, garnering three starts… Was second on the team with 45 receptions, 642 receiving yards and four touchdown catches… Returned 25 kickoffs for 615 yards, an average of 24.6 yards per return… Carried the ball 10 times for 57 yards… Caught five passes for a personal-best 110 yards at No. 10 Georgia Southern… Hauled in a 55-yard TD reception, the longest of his reception of his career, in a SoCon win over Western Carolina… Snared a career-high nine passes for 85 yards and a touchdown at The Citadel… Also brought back five kicks for 104 yards at The Citadel.

2011: Red-shirted.

2010: SoCon All-Freshman Team pick… Caught 14 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns in nine games… His first career catch was a 30-yard touchdown reception at Duke… Caught five passes for 82 yards and a score in a win over Samford… Brought back 16 kicks for 308 yards, an average of 19.2 yards per return… Returned one punt for two yards.

Prep: Helped lead coach Tom Knotts’ squad to a 2007 state finals appearance and a 2008 conference title… Two-time all-league performer… Caught 48 balls for 1,186 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior… Returned one kickoff and three punts for scores in 2009… Helped Independence earn ESPN.com’s top-ranking among North Carolina high school programs… Chosen as the MVP/Best Receiver at both the Schuman Combine and Brad Hoover Camp in 2008… Earned all-conference honors in track… Earned a scholar athlete award in 2008.
