Biography

2013-14: Played in 20 games • Averaged 3.0 points per game • Scored a career-high 14 points against Appalachian State on Jan. 6, knocking down six field goals • Grabbed a career-high eight rebounds against Wofford on Feb. 27 • Made season debut at 21st-ranked Colorado on Dec. 13

2012-13: Played in 32 games • Averaged 13.8 minutes per game • Averaged 2.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game • Set career-high marks in nearly every statistical category throughout the season • Scored a season-high nine points against Furman on Jan. 17 • Scored seven points against Western Carolina on Feb. 16 • Pulled down six boards against Bridgewater on Nov. 13 and against UNCG on March 9 • Recorded three steals against Furman on Feb. 9.

2011-12: Appeared in 14 games as a true freshman • Averaged 1.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game •Scored his first career points and finished with a season-high six points against Rutgers-Camden on Nov. 18

Prep Career: Led Regis Jesuit to three consecutive 5A state championships and a 75-6 record over those three seasons • Helped the team capture back-to-back Continental League crowns • Named to the 2011 all-tournament team • Earned honorable mention all-state recognition for two consecutive seasons.

Personal: Son of nine-year NBA veteran and former University of South Carolina standout Brian and Julie Winters • One of six children • Brother, Brendan, starred under Coach Matheny at Davidson from 2002-06 • Sister, Meghan, is a junior guard on the basketball team at Gonzaga University • Sister, Keelin, played soccer at Portland University and is a member of the USA U-23 National Team • Born March 21, 1992 • Majoring in strategic communications.
