2018: Second-team All-CAA honoree … First-team NCCSIA All-State honoree … One of two players to start all 59 games … Batted .297 with 51 runs scored, 15 doubles, five triples, two home runs and 25 RBI … Was 26-for-34 in stolen base attempts … Finished with 23 multi-hit games and had a season-long hitting streak of 12 games … Went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, one run scored and one RBI in game two against Penn State … Was 3-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base in a win over Radford … Was 2-for-3 with a run scored in a victory over Liberty … Drove in the game-winning run with a single in the 10th inning in game two at Georgia Southern … Hit his first homer of the year during a 2-for-4 day against Appalachian State … Was 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored in a game one win over Rider … Tripled twice and drove in two during a 2-for-4 day in game two against Rider … Posted back-to-back three-hit games in wins at James Madison … Was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI in a game three win over Hofstra … Doubled, tripled and drove in two in a game one win over Hartford … Scored three times and stole three bases in a 3-for-4 day in a game two win over William & Mary … Was 2-for-5 with two runs scored, a double and a triple in game three against William & Mary.

2017: Started 52 of the 54 games in which he appeared … Hit .188 with 24 runs scored, seven doubles, four home runs and 14 RBI … Was a team-best 14-for-16 in stolen base attempts … Drew 48 walks on the season to rank in a tie for fourth on the program's single-season chart … Began his Elon career with a 2-for-4, three-run, one-RBI performance in a win over Longwood … Hit his first homer and stole two bags in that debut … Was 1-for-2 with a leadoff homer in game one against UMass … Went 2-for-3 with a home run in game three with UMass.

At Jackson State: Picked up first-team all-conference accolades after hitting .396 with 76 runs scored, 12 doubles, 22 homers, 49 RBI and 20 stolen bases in 2016 … Hit .307 and led the team with 14 doubles and 13 stolen bases as a freshman … Scored 53 runs, hit nine home runs and drove in 36 while posting a .426 on-base percentage  to earn second-team all-league honors in 2015.

Prep: Played his prep ball for coach Chris Ring at Arlington High … Earned all-region honors in 2014 and was a two-time all-district selection … Helped the team to a 2012 state title … Prep squad won regional and district crowns in 2013 and a district championship in 2014 … As a member of the Memphis Tigers team, Evers was named to the Perfect Game all-tournament team in the summer of 2012.

Personal: Zachary Richard Evers is the son of Jason and Jennifer Evers … Born May 21, 1996.
