Career Honors:
-CAA Rookie of the Week | Sept. 25

2017: Played in all 32 matches on the year, making 31 starts while playing in 119 of Elon’s 121 sets played for the year…Collected a team-best 87 blocks to go with 195 kills, 54 digs, 27 aces and 10 assists… Her 27 aces placed second on the team and her 195 kills placed third…Recorded a season-best 13 kills in the CAA Tournament against James Madison while also finished with a season-high six digs and three blocks…Also added 11 kills against William & Mary with two blocks…Had seven aces across a two-match stretch, posting a season-high three at Hofstra before upping that best to four at Northeastern…Blocked eight balls on three occasions against Navy, Delaware and at Northeastern…Collected CAA Rookie of the Week Sept. 25 after posting a .410 hitting percentage with 19 kills and just three errors against Towson and Delaware.

High School: A four-year varsity starter, Carpenter was a two-year captain at Blue Valley High School under head coach Dave Johnson...Led the team in kill percentage in 2016 and was selected to the 2014 and 2016 AVCA Phenom List...Also received first team All-Conference honors during her senior year and was a second team selection as a sophomore...Received special mention for Prep Volleyball 79 as a sophomore.

Personal: Daughter of Stephanie and Wade Carpenter...Plans to major in journalism...Was a member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll in high school.
