CAA Defensive Player of the Week | April 23, 2018
2018: Started all 15 games throughout the season and set new career highs with 30 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers…The 30 ground balls led the team for the year and her 18 caused turnovers placed third…Scored her first collegiate goal late in the game at Delaware to help seal the win…Finished with a season-high five ground balls at Drexel to go with four caused turnovers on the way to being named CAA Defensive Player of the Week April 23 for the first time in her career…Had three ground balls against Winthrop and in the CAA Semifinals against No. 6 Towson…Caused three turnovers in the non-conference finale against No. 16 Virginia Tech…Recorded double-digit ground balls 10 times and had double-digit caused turnovers five times.
2017: Started all 20 games on defense for the Phoenix in 2017…Finished the season with 19 ground balls, 15 caused turnovers and 21 draw controls, finishing fifth on the team in the category…Picked up a season-high four ground balls against Winthrop…Also had two ground balls against No. 9 Notre Dame, Hofstra and No. 13 Virginia in the NCAA Tournament…Had a season high four draw controls in the loss to No. 9 Notre Dame while picking up two more against No. 13 Virginia, Winthrop and No. 14 Towson.
2016: Played in 15 games on the season, earning the start eight times…Tallied eight ground balls, seven draws and two caused turnovers.Â
2015: Played in 12 games as a rookie and earned the start in one contest…Picked up three ground balls on the season…Finished with one caused turnover…Tallied one draw control.
High School:Â Three-year letterwinner in lacrosse...Helped team win the county championship in 2013 and 2014, advancing to the state sectional finals in 2013...Led team to a state championship as a senior in 2014...Named first team all-state, all-country and all-conference as a senior, as well as a NJ North Lacrosse All Star and an Academic All-American...Also a member of the varsity soccer and basketball teams, serving as team captain for both as a senior...Earned athletic honors and seven varsity letters after playing three sports all four years...National Merit Commended Scholar...Member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Key Club and Economics Club.
