Prep: Helped coach John Sprague’s team to back-to-back district championships and state playoff appearances… Piled up 151 career tackles, 83 as a senior, and five career interceptions… Earned his team’s most valuable defensive back honor twice… First-team all-area selection in 2008… Three-year letterman in football and a four-year letterman in track and field… Earned his track team’s most valuable sprinter award as a senior after excelling in the 100-meter dash (10.76 seconds), the 200-meter dash (21.82 seconds) and as the leadoff leg (41.6 seconds) of the squad’s 4x100-meter relay unit, which finished third in state competition… Team captain and an all-area athlete in track, reaching district runner-up and regional qualifier status in both the 100 and 200 meters.
