Season totals included one kill, 54 assists, 12 service aces, and 313 digs (second on the team)...Recorded double-digit digs 13 times, including a stretch of double-digit digs in 7-of-9 matches...Made her collegiate debut against McNeese State on Aug. 30...Reached double-digit digs with 13 at Robert Morris...Tallied 17 digs with four assists in a 3-2 win over Wake Forest...Recorded 22 digs in a 3-2 win at Charleston...Set a season high of 24 digs in a 3-1 final at N.C. High School:Â Gower was a four-year letter winner at Leesville Road High School, where she was a team captain as a senior and reached over 1,000 career digs...Was her team's defensive MVP and earned All-Conference honors in 2016, 2017, and 2018...Additionally, she was named an All-State selection in 2017 and 2018 and an Under Armour All-American Special Mention in 2018...An honor roll and Academic All-Conference student all four years, she helped her squad to an Eastern Regional semifinal appearance in 2017...Gower also played for Triangle Volleyball Club's 18 Black team under coach Jim Freeman, with whom she qualified for Nationals in the open division four years in a row.
