Biography

Coach’s Take: Ben is a tenacious competitor who continues to do well in our program. He is able play several positions and has a good work ethic. 

2008: Made 11 starts in his 17 appearances… recorded one assist on the year in Elon’s 1-0 victory over Radford. 2007: Saw time in 18 matches, earning 14 starting assignments as a true freshman. 

Prep: A four-year starter and team captain for his OH-N ODP state team… also a four-year starter for his regional team… named a “Player to Watch” in the class of 2007 by Top Drawer Soccer… helped his Region II team to the 2006 Interregional title and a 2005 Premier League crown… member of the squad that reached the finals of the 2005 Disney Showcase… his Cleveland Soccer Academy club team won the 2006 OH-N State Cup… helped Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy claim the 2004 Ohio state title and make a semifinals appearance in 2005. 

Personal: Born Mar. 8, 1989… son of Vic and Karen Lunka… majoring in business administration.
