Coach’s Take: Stephen has had a solid career here at Elon. We look for another strong campaign in 2009 after a very productive spring season.
2008: Made 19 appearances, earning two starts, to help the Phoenix to a SoCon championship… tallied one assist in Elon’s 3-1 regular-season win over Wofford. 2007: One of three Phoenix players to start all 19 matches… finished the year with four points on a goal and two assists… scored his first career goal in a league victory at Wofford… both assists, including one on the game-winner, came in Elon’s victory over High Point. 2006: Earned four starting assignments and appeared in 12 total matches as a true freshman… tallied one assist, which came in his first collegiate contest, a 4-3 Elon win against Stetson
Prep: Spent three years on the North Carolina ‘87 ODP team… helped his Charlotte Soccer club team to two North Carolina State Cup championships (2003, 2006)… was a three-time all-conference and all-region selection at Charlotte Latin… honored as both an all-state and All-South selection… named to the All-Observer team… helped lead Charlotte Latin to two NCISAA state titles.
