Monitoring of Academic Eligibility & Mid-term Progress Reports

Student-athletes are expected to meet certain rules and requirements in order to remain academically eligible to participate in athletics. Eligibility Standards


Continuing Student-Athlete Eligibility Requirements:

By the End of Year: Student-Athletes Must Complete:
1 24 credits; 1.8
2 53 credits; 40% of degree requirements; 1.9
3 80 credits; 60% of degree requirements; 2.0
4 106 credits; 80% of degree requirements; 2.0


Students must earn 18 credits during the academic year and must pass 6 credits per term. Students must declare their major by the end of their second year.

Students may use summer credit hours to satisfy the 24 credit hour requirement when a student-athlete is entering his second year or beyond.

Mid-term Progress Reports

Progress reports will be requested from professors once a semester. Communication with faculty regarding academic progress is maintained throughout the semester.
