Elon University Athletics

If you or your child is an incoming Elon University student-athlete, all tasks below will need to be completed prior to participation. Please contact your athletic trainer with questions.

• ARMS Forms: Elon University utilizes the ARMS platform for sports medicine and compliance forms along with communication to student-athletes. Log in with your Elon email and password. The sports medicine forms will be assigned and completed annually.
• Sickle Cell Solubility Documentation: All Elon University student-athletes must show proof of sickle cell solubility testing for sickle cell trait prior to participation in any Elon University athletics workout, practice, or competition. Please provide documentation of the test that was completed at birth or through recent bloodwork, or it will otherwise be completed upon arrival.
• Physical: All incoming student-athletes will complete a physical with Elon University team physicians upon arrival and must receive clearance prior to participation in sport. Physicals will be scheduled by athletic trainers.
• Immunizations: Elon University and the state of North Carolina requires certain vaccines and immunizations for students. Records must be uploaded to the Phoenix Health Portal. This is a university requirement; please contact immunizations@elon.edu with questions.
• Student Health Insurance Requirement: All full-time Elon University students are required to maintain health insurance. Students who have insurance can upload proof of coverage to a waiver through the Student Blue Portal. If the insurance does not meet waiver criteria, students will be enrolled in the Student Blue plan. This is a university requirement; please contact healthinsurance@elon.edu with questions.
