2011: Served as a team captain… Started all 10 games in which he appeared… Finished second on the team with 60 total tackles from his safety position… Had seven tackles for a loss, one sack, two interceptions and recovered one fumble… Notched a career-best 13 tackles in a win over The Citadel… Had 11 tackles and returned an interception 47 yards in a win at Western Carolina… Returned an interception 28 yards and recovered a fumble at Samford… 2010: Appeared in all 11 games, making nine starts… Was fourth on the team with 61 total tackles, including 2.5 tackles for a loss and one sack… Led the team with four interceptions… Broke up two passes and forced one fumble… Made a career-best 11 tackles against both Duke and The Citadel… Picked off the first pass in an Elon uniform in a win over Shaw… Recorded the first sack of his career at then-No. 9 Richmond… 2009: Started one game and appeared in all 12 as a true freshman… Totaled 11 tackles, including a high of four in his collegiate debut against Davidson.

Prep: Paced coach Scott Ripley’s squad to a conference championship game appearance as a junior… Two-year team captain… Registered first-team all-city, second-team all-area and honorable mention all-state status in 2008… Played in the 2008 Baltimore Touchdown Club All-Star Game… Named to the 2008 Baltimore Touchdown Club Super 22… Lettered for the Cardinal Gibbons baseball team and competed for the track and field squad… Traveled to Israel as a member of Congressman Elijah Cummings’ youth program.
