Career Recap
Finishes her career as one of the best defenders in program history with 112 ground balls and 71 caused turnovers. Both figures, as well as her 95 draw controls, rank as the second-most in Elon history at the conclusion of her career in 2018. A two-time Second Team All-CAA selection, Zadjura ends her time in maroon and gold as the first field player to surpass 100 ground balls. Starting 68 games, Zadjura started every game Elon played in her career in maroon and gold. 

2018: Started all 15 games on the year as a team captain and finished with 24 ground balls, 22 caused turnovers and 18 draw controls on the way to being named a Second Team All-CAA honoree for the second-straight year…The 22 caused turnovers led the program and her 1.47 caused turnovers per game finished 10th-best in the CAA…Her 24 ground balls and 18 draw controls both finished third on the team…Had a season-best four ground balls at Coastal Carolina while causing three turnovers in the win…Also had three caused turnovers in the CAA Semifinals against Towson…Caused a season-best four turnovers at Notre Dame…Collected two ground balls in eight of the team’s 15 games, including each of the final five games of the year…Was selected to participate in the 2018 IWLCA Senior All-Star Game after the season. 

2017: Started all 20 games on the season…Finished the year with 33 ground balls, 25 caused turnovers and 35 draw controls…Her 35 draw controls led the Phoenix while her 33 ground balls placed second…The 25 caused turnovers placed third on the team…Picked up a season high four ground balls on two occasions against No. 2 North Carolina and Drexel and three against No. 14 Towson…Picked up at least two ground balls in 12 games…Posted a season high four caused turnovers at No. 2 North Carolina and had three against No. 9 Notre Dame…Collected four draw controls in back-to-back games against Hofstra and William & Mary to close the regular season while picking up three against No. 13 Virginia in both the regular season and NCAA Tournament and High Point…Was named to the CAA All-Tournament Team after two stellar games on the defensive end…Earned CAA Defensive Player of the Week on Feb. 14 after Elon’s road win at No. 13 Virginia…Prior to the season, was named a Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention before becoming a Second Team All-CAA performer for the second year in a row at season’s end.

2016: Played and started all 17 games…Third on the team with 28 ground balls…Third on the team with 21 draw controls…Fourth on the team with 12 caused turnovers…Posted a new career-high with four draws on two occasions…Picked up a career-high five ground balls against Holy Cross…Earned All-CAA Second Team honors…Selected to the CAA All-Tournament Team…Named Team MVP.

2015: Played and started all 16 games as a rookie…Second on the team with 27 ground balls…Picked up a career-high five ground balls against No. 8 Duke and at Jacksonville…Tallied a ground ball in 12 games…Second on team with 12 caused turnovers…Posted a career-high and tied an Elon single-game record with three caused turnovers at Jacksonville…Fourth on team with 21 draw controls…Won a career-high three draw controls on three occasions…Named to the CAA All-Rookie Team.

High School: Four-year varsity starter…All-county selection in 2013…Received team’s coaches’ award in 2013…Helped team to a District 5 Championship (2012), two county championships (2012, 2013), two regional championships (2011, 2013) and two state titles (2011, 2013)…Also a three-year varsity starter on the soccer team…Member of the National Honor Society.
