EVANSVILLE, IN -- Despite three Phoenix players scoring in double figures, Elon lost its third straight game Saturday. This time the damage was a 66-51 loss to Evansville.

Brendon Rowell led the way for Elon, scoring 18 points and grabbing three rebounds. Larry McSwain and David Hall finished with 11 and 10 points respectively. McSwain also pulled down seven boards and Hall added five rebounds and two assists. Elon (4-6) shot only 37.7 percent from the field and turned the ball over 15 times.

The Purple Aces were led by Craig Snow who scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Dan Lytle added 17 points and Kyle Runyan 12 for Evansville (4-4).

Elon will return to the hardwood Monday night as they continue their Indiana tour with a trip to Indiana State. Tip is 8:05 pm.
