ELON COLLEGE, NC - Coach Paul Webster announced the signing of Laura Williams to his championship squad. Williams was an athlete at the Miami Valley School in Dayton, OH. She was a four-year varsity starter wearing the captain moniker her senior year. Williams was an all-area team and North/South Senior All-Star Game selection.

Her 44 career goals rank second all-time at Miami Valley, despite playing two full years at defense. The former Dayton Daily News "Player of the Week" is the all-time assist leader at Miami Valley and holds the single season assist record. The Southwest Ohio Coaches All-Academic team member was an Ohio State Olympic Development Player.
