ELON, NC -- Elon women's golf coach Chris Dockrill announced the signing of Meghan Trainor (Duluth, GA/Greater Atlanta Christian School) to a national letter of intent on Monday.

Trainor currently plays as GACS' number one women's golfer and has been named Player of the Year by the Atlanta Journal Constitution and the American Junior Golf Association. She was also named MVP by GACS and finished second in the state three years in a row. Trainor's play helped to lead the school to a first place regional finish as well as a second place finish in the state. She also qualified for the Atlanta/Kauai Team Challenge and the Tournament of Champions. Meghan is the daughter of Gary and Jayme Trainor.
