PHILADELPHIA, PA -- The 2000 Elon women's soccer team was honored with the College Team Academic Award for the fourth straight year. The award is given by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America at their annual convention. The honor is bestowed upon teams from the previous year that compiled an overall GPA above a 3.0. The Phoenix soccer squad sported a 3.14 for the 2000-01 academic year.

The 2000 team finished 8-11 overall, but won the Big South Conference regular season title.
