ELON, NC -- Elon women's tennis coach Tom Parham announced the signing of
Kelly Fleck (Statesville, NC/Statesville H.S.) to a National Letter of Intent on Tuesday.
Fleck, the daughter of Michael and Deborah Fleck, was ranked number one among all singles players 18 and under by the North Carolina Tennis Association in 2001. The 2001 team MVP has won state titles at the 2-A level in doubles in 2000 and at the 3-A level in singles in 2001. Fleck was named the North Piedmont Conference Player of the Year in 2001 and helped her team win two 2-A state titles (1999 and 2000) and a runner-up finish at the 3-A level in 2001. Fleck is a Junior Marshall, Honors Graduate, member of the National Honor Roll, Beta Club and was named to both Who's Who in Academics and Who's Who in Athletics.
