ELON, NC--Elon University baseball coach Mike Kennedy announced the signing of Greg Jones (Morrisville, NC/Green Hope HS) to a National Letter of Intent on Thursday morning.
Jones, a 6-0, 155-pound pitcher, earned Tri-Seven Academic All-Conference honors and honorable mention All-Conference in 2002 while leading coach Mike Miragliuolo's Green Hope High School team to a Tri-Seven Conference Championship. Jones was named the GHHS Defensive Player of the Year during his freshman campaign. This three-time baseball letterman also garnered three varisty letters in cross country. Greg is the son of Richard and Nancy Jones.
