QUICK HITS

Alford stole three bases – second, third and home – against Queens on Tuesday for his sixth multi-stolen base game of the season. Alford, who is 23 of 26 in stolen bases, is the first Phoenix since Tyler Stanley (2019) to steal 20 or more bases in a season.

  • Brian Strange was fantastic on the mound in Elon's series opener against N.C. A&T on March 6. Despite earning the loss, Strange went seven innings and allowed just one hit. Strange is currently third in the CAA in strikeouts (44).
  • Following a 25-32 (13-14 CAA) season in 2025, Elon was picked in a tie for fourth in the 2026 CAA preseason poll.
