ELON –The Elon baseball team (11-17, 3-6 CAA) will look to build off a walk-off win on Tuesday as it heads to North Carolina A&T (8-19, 2-7 CAA) for a CAA weekend series.
Elon and A&T will meet for their second weekend series of the season. In the first meeting, Elon won the three-game set with victories in games two and three. A&T is one of three CAA opponents Elon will face six times during the regular season, along with UNCW and William & Mary.

SERIES HIGHLIGHTS
- Elon leads the all-time series, 61-13-1.
- The Phoenix took two games out of three against the Aggies on March 6-8 at Latham Park. After falling in game one, Elon scored 19 runs over the final two games to take the series with 8-3 and 11-8 victories.
- Elon has won three of its last four games at the Aggies' World War Memorial Stadium. The Phoenix offense has averaged 9.0 runs per game in its past six road games against A&T.
- Elon's first weekend series at A&T came in 2024 when the Phoenix won two of three.

- Senior Jackson Alford has continued his All-CAA form from 2025, leading the Phoenix in multiple offensive categories through 28 games. Alford stole three bases – second, third and home – against Queens on Tuesday for his sixth multi-stolen base game of the season. Alford, who is 23 of 26 in stolen bases, is the first Phoenix since Tyler Stanley (2019) to steal 20 or more bases in a season.
- Outfielder Brian DuRoff had one of his best stretches as a Phoenix last week. DuRoff hit .385 (5-for-13) with an on-base percentage of .609 over the last five games.
- Brian Strange was fantastic on the mound in Elon's series opener against N.C. A&T on March 6. Despite earning the loss, Strange went seven innings and allowed just one hit. Strange is currently third in the CAA in strikeouts (44).
- Following a 25-32 (13-14 CAA) season in 2025, Elon was picked in a tie for fourth in the 2026 CAA preseason poll.
- Head coach Mike Kennedy is in his 30th season at the helm of Elon Baseball. After earning 25 wins last season, Kennedy has led the Phoenix to 24 seasons of 25 wins or more. Kennedy is a 2025-26 Elon Sports Hall of Fame inductee.
