CHARLESTON, S.C.--   Elon University's 
Gary Morris (Franklin, N.C./Franklin), Grant Rembert (Hickory, N.C./UNC Asheville) and 
Chris Price (Asheville, N.C./T.C. Roberson) were named to the All-Southern Conference Baseball Team as selected by the media on Friday morning.  Morris, who also earned First Team All-Southern Conference accolades from the coaches on Wednesday, was named to the first team at second base.  Rembert, named Second Team All-Conference on Wednesday, again claimed second team distinction in the outfield.  Price earned second team honors as the designated hitter.  
  Morris finished the regular season with a .371 batting average to lead the team. He also led the squad with 58 runs scored, 79 hits and 21 stolen bases. In league play, Morris hit .417 over 30 games with 34 runs scored, four homers and 26 RBI.  
  Rembert hit .342 over 55 games in the regular season. He set a new Elon single season record with 23 doubles and led the team with 79 hits, seven homers, 55 RBI and a .550 slugging percentage. Rembert, who made the move to right field after playing catcher at UNC Asheville last season, made only one miscue in the field. A .366 hitter in league games, Rembert scored 26 runs and legged out 13 doubles in those 30 contests.  
  Price finished the regular season with a .318 batting average over 56 games.  He tied for leading the team in home runs with seven.  He notched 56 hits, 10 doubles, and 49 RBI during regular season play.  In league games, Price hit .379 in 30 games with 25 runs, seven doubles and 28 RBI.  
  Elon tallied a 29-26 overall ledger and a 17-13 mark in league play during the regular season.
