ELON –The Elon baseball team (13-19, 5-10 CAA) will look to build off a CAA series win last week as it hosts William & Mary (12-19, 4-8 CAA) for a weekend series at Latham Park.
The Phoenix and Tribe met four times last season including a matchup at the 2025 CAA Tournament in which Elon won 7-4 to eliminate William & Mary.

- Elon leads the all-time series, 26-22.
- Elon has won two straight games in the all-time series.

- Senior Jackson Alford has continued his All-CAA form from 2025, leading the Phoenix in multiple offensive categories through 32 games. Alford, who is 26 of 30 in stolen bases, is the first Phoenix since Tyler Stanley (2019) to steal 20 or more bases in a season.
- Outfielder Brian DuRoff is in the midst of one of his best stretches as a Phoenix. He's hit .412 (8-for-19) in Elon's last four games with three extra-base hits and seven RBI.
- Brian Strange delivered seven innings of one-run baseball, struck out six and walked none in his last start, a 10-3 series-opening win at North Carolina A&T. His 50 strikeouts are third most in the CAA.
- Jared Hall has gotten hot over the last four games. Coming into the Friday matchup, Hall has homered in consecutive games and scored multiple runs in three of his last four games. Hall has vaulted his batting average up to over .250 due to his recent run.
- Kehler Hamilton has become one of Elon's top bullpen arms this season. After just three appearances during his freshman season, Hamilton is tied for second (13) on the Phoenix in 2026. Among non-qualified pitchers, Hamilton is first in ERA at 2.00.
- Following a 25-32 (13-14 CAA) season in 2025, Elon was picked in a tie for fourth in the 2026 CAA preseason poll.
- Head coach Mike Kennedy is in his 30th season at the helm of Elon Baseball. After earning 25 wins last season, Kennedy has led the Phoenix to 24 seasons of 25 wins or more. Kennedy is a 2025-26 Elon Sports Hall of Fame inductee.
